Thank you for calling attention to beneficial compounds in cannabis! It's not the strain name or type that matters, it's the chemical profile that counts! Cannabis should have active ingredients listed like any other CPG. The information is available for all regulated products.

I loved Jack Herer the real MAN. Advocates like him and Dennis Peron are Heros to us that knew them. If anyone wants to understand the fight it took to bring legal weed to America. Learn who these Marijuana Heros are. Never forget. If you never heard of Elvy Musikka, YouTube her and learn why Everyone has freedom because of these Heros.

Absolutely! We stand on their shoulders. Which is why bringing integrity back into this industry is so important. Thank you for bringing up all these people. Maybe I can do a blog post about them!

YouTube has many of these great cannabis hero's. Like Patients Out of Time is a great cannabis group fighting for patients. Elvy Musikka is on YouTube, Dennis Peron,Jack Herer. Jack never wanted cannabis Taxed, Dennis Peron believed it to be All Medicine. And Elvy is still alive to interview her for her believes. Many Cannabis hero's no one heard of like Steve Kubby, or Bill McPike, but everyone knows NORML or ASA. If it wasn't TAXED and free Americans just grew it, would there be a industry? What Americans need is a 28 Amendment to our Constitution. Free the plant like Corn. Learn to grow to have. Because it's coming to the pharmacy when they teach everyone about the bad THC and the great other non high pieces of the plant. 10 years ago who cared what compound is in the marijuana plant other than THC. Just say.

People need to understand if you grow the plant cannabis and make medicine with the whole plant and drink or eat it. Why does the patient need to know what THCV is. Big Pharma like Jazz Pharma and Pfizer care about each piece of the whole plant. Learn to grow to have the whole plant.

Yes I'm with you completely! As someone who loves science and systems breaking down the plant at least on an intellectual level helps me appreciate the entire thing at a new elevated level. I'm most excited that people can grow plants that help them however that may look. I do think we're going to see a big trend of "diet weed" sold in the shops but hopefully that makes people even more curious about the plant.

Focus. Yes. Great topic. In my sober mind I have anxiety as a sense of being overwhelmed by a multitude of choices of what I should/need/want to be doing. Sometimes to the point of locking up and doing nothing, which, I think we agree we don't want this.

When I microdose cannabis that inner judge-y dialog mutes and allows me to decide on an action to take, and after starting the task I find I can get into it for an extended period, time seems to stop, and I actually enjoy the process. I'm eating 3mg? doses of decarbed flower in the morning.

Sometimes I will also dry vape in the afternoon, I go to Remedy usually, as it continues a relaxed body high with only mild mind effects easing me into the evening. That's the CBD effect.

The strains I use are Acapulco Gold, Amnesia Haze, and White Remedy (1-1 THC/CBD). I grow these from seeds/clones so there are no product labels to refer to- so I turn to Leafly's strain index which indicates that both Gold and Haze are predominantly Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene. Remedy deletes the limonene but has pinene. Rubbing a living flower they do smell of bright lemon, really pleasant to inhale the fresh terps as they are developing. Remedy has the aroma of pine and earth and is... well, more grounding.

So yes, my experience echos what you have just said. Thank you for exploring the topic of mindful cannabis use. Emphasis on microdosing as you don't want to cross the line into getting stoned and non functional. I also enjoying coffee twice a day as well as well as exercise, short naps, probiotics- all these things add to a greater entourage effect and a sense of living well.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this with me! That's incredible that you can grow those! That is the embodiment of Let Food Be Thy Medicine! I am so with you on how cannabis quiets the inner voice and that allows everything else to arise. That's why I started using cannabis in the first place because I had pretty severe OCD and when I smoked for the first time the compulsions went away and I just existed and it was fabulous. I'm so thrilled that you have a system built around integrity that works for you. I need to be a bit more open to exploring non inhalation methods of smoking. I try to justify that it helps the most with my appetite but I also just really like the ritual of rolling a joint and going outside to smoke. Thank you so much for weighing in and for being here!

What strains do you think I should plant? I'm AuDHD, cancer survivor, recently got my Masters. I've replaced everything else that ever treated me with cannabis... except the stimulant. I would like to be wholly non-pharma. Thank you so much for this video.

Hi! I'm so glad you're here! Since everyone reacts differently to every strain what I'm going to do is ask in a AuDHD specifically and I'll report what they say. I have a feeling we'll get a lot info that can help you make a more informed decision. Standby!

Hi! Ok I got a lot of great answers. Blue Dream came up the most for daytime strains. Mango Haze, which is 1:1 came up a lot too! Here’s what one person said: it’s only about 8-10% and doesn’t leave me feeling burnt. Nice for mood and pain mgmt. Plus it just reeks of mango and I’m here for it. Someone said this: Only Indica. Sativa is a hard pass from me. My current favorite strain is permanent marker. I can't do Indicas, they give me panic attacks. I hope this gives you some insight! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

Thank you so much for taking the time to ask, that was super sweet of you. I'll order seeds from... Pacific Seed Bank? The favorite strain for AuDHD focus/creativity I've found locally is Bacio Gelato, if you find yourself in conversation with the recommenders in the future.

Absolutely my pleasure! I'm just on the autism side of the spectrum so I appreciated hearing all the opinions and actually learned a lot! I will pass on your suggestion! Standby on ordering. I have a blog post coming out on Friday about the most reputable seed banks and I think there were mixed reviews for Pacific Seed. If you need to order before then I can look it up.

oooh, I'll wait for the blog post. I just planted enough strains for this round in the tent. ;) I'm late diagnosed AuDHD although looking back at my life, someone trained could have picked it out by my behaviors. I'm curious now to explore how cannabis plays with social anxiety, because xanax is something I used to take to mask anxiety in public.
